California Adventures

Day 2 started with me rising and shining first. Diesel and his daddy looked so cute sleeping I had to get a shot.

We all were so worn out from the VERY long day before that it took us a little bit to get up and moving.

Once we were all ready we headed to wait for the shuttle. We waited and waited and waited. It took us about 45 minutes. A lot longer then it should have!

Jeremy's cousin Kacie and her son Owen met us for the day Sunday. The first thing we did was see the Mickey Mouse Play House Show!

It was such a big hit! Everyone loved it and participated.

Even Jeremy was entranced!

Owen just loved Taylor and wanted to be near Diesel.

They had a ton of cool things. Bubbles fell from the sky and so did leaves. Diesel loved it all!

Afterwards the kids were pumped! Here are my kids and their cousin Owen.

Next we went to see A Bug's Life 3-D Show. The little ones weren't too sure about it all but us adults LOVED it and laughed all the way through.

After Bugs life were all so hungry. We found a good food place and waited in line and waited and waited and waited. After an hour waiting to just order we waited another 10 minutes to get our damn food. During the waiting the Men (Jer and my Dad) were making new friends and watching the kids. Lunch in all too FOREVER! Once it was all done we headed over to the Bug Life Kid Zone so the kids could go on come rides.

The 1st ride was a caterpillar train ride. The line was about 30-40 minutes and the ride stunk. So not worth the wait. But the kids stayed entertained playing on the ropes and we adults took lots of pictures.

Our cousin Kacie and I

My BFF Shonna and I. Oh I forgot to mention you can drink at California Adventures Park. So the Yellow cups = Beer or Margaritas. That also helped the time go by! :)

These are our new friends. They were so nice and lots of fun!

Rylee being a ham as usual

My Taylor is such a great big sister and such a huge help. She loved watching over Owen and he adored her! Isn't he just so cute!

Rylee just loved her Aunite Sami. And Sami loved all the Lovin!

Finally on the ride!

Next we went on the Spinning Lady Bugs. The kids started getting restless. Diesel looks so cute here and fell asleep just minutes later in my arms. He didn't end up riding the ride.

Maddi hated the ride. Can't you tell by her face. It was so sad yet so funny Shonna and I couldn't help but laugh. She kept saying "No More Mommy" " I want to stop" You should see the video of her on the Matterhorn! OMG too funny!

Kacie and Owen left after the LadyBugs. But we were able to get a group shot. Diesel was asleep still.

After that we headed over to Soar'n California. My Dad and the girls had never been on it. They all loved it. Did you know it takes you through Camarillo? So cool!
By the time that was over Diesel was awake and it was time to head to Downtown Disney for out Dinner reservations at Rain Forest Cafe.

We told them we were celebrating Rylee's Birthday and they came out and sang to her and gave her ice cream when our dinner was done. She was very excited.

Diesel on the other hand was very scared of the thunder storms in the restaurant. But her liked the elephant and gorilla.

After dinner my parent left back to the hotel to get their stuff and leave back to Camarillo. We took the kids into the Store so they could get some goodies. Then worked our way back to the tram.

We stopped on the way in front of the park entrance to take pictures with the letters.

Then it was back to the hotel! One final ride on our tram

Diesel's such a monkey!

When we got back to the hotel I was so thirsty and I was out of water. Shonna and I made a walk to the liquor store then to Carl's Jr for a late night snack. I'm not sure it was the best idea. I'm pretty sure we were in the ghetto. But we had an adventure that's for sure!

We were woken up a few times EARLY Monday morning to alarms. At 6:30am I checked on Diesel and this is how I found him. It's so cute. He was so worn out. He was sleeping with Jer and I was with Shonna. I moved him back the right way but not before I took a picture.
We got up about 10am. By 10:40 we were all packed up and on the rode back to good ol' Arizona. We got home around 6pm Monday evening and had such a great time. The weather in Cali was perfect for the park and we arrived back to 80 degree temps. Already talking to my mom about heading back over the summer!
It was an awesome trip with great memories, the best kind of people and fun pictures!
